About Jeff

Known as the ¨Career Break Travel Guy¨, Jeff is one of the leading travel personalities in the world. An international traveler since his first trip to Australia at the age of 16, his career break made him a true citizen of the world having visited 30 countries, and 6 of the 7 continents. He left a fantastic but crazy corporate career to learn Spanish fluently in South America, see magnificent sunsets and sunrises in far-flung places like the Galapagos, Easter Island, Cappadocia, and the Nile River and learn to ski (at the age of 36!).

He’s spent the last 5 years in Bogotá, Colombia where he started Career Break Secrets to inspire others and help them plan their own career break journey. In 2010, he launched the popular travel blog, CareerBreakSecrets.com. In 2012, he published his first book, The Career Break Traveler’s Handbook. And, in 2013, his global travel TV show, The Career Break Travel Show launched on The Venture Channel. In 2014, he plans to take the next step in advocating for international travel by touring around the US.
