It may be less grand than its more familiar cousin in Paris, but Barcelona has its own Arc di Triomf. No, that’s not a misspelling. That’s the Catalan spelling on the archway. I sort of stumbled across it while walking around Barcelona on my short trip to Spain. I left the Picasso Museum and headed away from Las Ramblas to try to see some other parts of the Gothic Quarter. While checking out my trusty map, I noticed the Arc di Triomf and figured, what the hell, let’s go see it. I was surprised when I arrive to see almost no one around. Middle of a summer day and no one. So, I got the chance to admire its Moorish-inspired architecture and get some nice clean shots, one of them being this Suh-Weet shot.

I’m hoping to visit Barcelona next fall, and I enjoy “finds” like this. This is definitely a suh-weet shot! Nice catch and thanks for your post, Jeff!
