On a cold, winter afternoon when we weren’t having much luck seeing much game, we came upon this proud lady. Our guide saw her from afar when she was no more than a speck in the binoculars. But, those professional eyes clearly know how to pick out an animal from, say, a speck of dust. She wasn’t too bothered by us. She preferred to hang out and take in the view of the valley below. Having the chance to hang out with her during out trip to South Africa and take in this view is what makes this today’s Suh-weet Shot.

Fabulous shot. I will never forget having the good luck to see an orangutan in the Borneo jungle. It was the highlight of my trip.

Thanks all. We were within about 30-50 yards. Would have loved to have gotten a shot of her face. But, she was more interested in hanging out on her perch.
