From the moment I entered the gate towards the Taj Mahal, I was transfixed in front of this legendary monument. With camera in hand, I took photos with every step I took. The memory of the beauty of the entrance gate itself almost faded when something inside told me to look back, yeah away from the Taj Mahal. As I looked at the gate, bright colors caught my eye to the left, and I saw these three women about to walk past me. I happened to be almost perfectly centered with the gate and the fountain. I quickly raised my camera, waited a few seconds for the women to cross my path. And, this photo was the result. Sometimes you’re good. And sometimes, you’re just damn lucky to get a Suh-Weet Shot like this one while traveling in India or anywhere. .

Jeff – nicely done. I like the reflection. Too bad it wasn’t super blue that day.
Thanks Don. Skies were too hot and full of haze to have anything too interesting…even in the early morning. Oh well, can’t have it all right?
Beautiful shot. I absolutely love the sense of motion in it.
Thanks Alex. Yes, that is one of the reasons I like it so much. Plus, the colors of the saris really popped.
Love this shot, it’s one of the best I’ve seen from the Taj Mahal. Great job!
I agree with Dave & Deb, this is a special shot. Movement, colour, symmetry and it really captures the culture too. Well done Jeff! (Must have been that Indian dinner we ate together in NYC that inspired you
Thanks guys!
Nice shot! I like the colors on the women.
