Of all the shots, I’ve been posting for the last year, I think this one is one of my all-time favorites. Taken in Mykonos while traveling in Greece, it captures the island beautifully. Whitewashed exteriors are accented with just a touch of color, often blue, but not exclusively. Nearby is Mykonos’ bustling center filled with restaurants and shops. And, with these windmills up on a hill, they stand as part of the island’s skyline, if you can call it that. I hope you enjoy this week’s Suh-Weet Shot as much as I do.

Beautiful! Love the colors. And now I want to visit Greece even more ….
Love Mykonos! We had the best dinner across the inlet in Little Venice, sitting on a balcony that stretched over the sea – spectacular!
I have recently had it suggested to me that Greece was an excellent (and cheaper) replacement to Italy. Does anyone know if that is true?
@Elizabeth. I haven’t been to Greece so I can’t comment. But, Greece wasn’t cheap. I’d say consider Turkey. If you stay on the western coast, you still have the Mediterranean, ruins and great food. I’ll put the question out on the fanpage and see if we get any responses.
These are beautiful, Jeff…thanks for posting!
I’ve got a pictures of those Such a beautiful place.
That’s a great shot Jeff! I’d love to visit Mykonos someday.
Beautiful My favorite windmills are in Consuegra, Spain. But these are not too shabby!
Blue and white – iconic!
I have never been, but I do recognize these from lots of great photos.
Great picture! It definitely captures the beauty and serenity of Greece. Thanks for sharing it.
