Video storage for our travel videos

5.5 TBs – That’s how much video we are working with to get our video guides launched later this year.  When we first envisioned producing these career break travel videos and video guides, I had no idea that we would wind up with that amount of video to sort through.  And, as of this writing, I still don’t have the Colombia travel guide (that will add another 1.5-2.0 TBs of video)

Organizing and managing that amount of video has been much more difficult than we ever imagined.  With me in Bogota and Molly in DC, we have really been struggling to store and share all that video between us to get the videos produced and published.

So, today I unpacked our new storage solution, DroboPro, to help us with the video management.  I am crossing my fingers that this is the way of our future and that it will allow us to start getting this video out and published to help you plan your career break.
