And, I agree that the experience you gained before you left is still valid and valuable when you return. For myself, I took time away and did not look back. But, I have also met people who had real concerns about that would happen when they got back. So, I think Ginny is erring on the side of caution since it may not people possible for everyone to make a clean break. Thanks for the feedback! Jeremy, I hear you. The notion that you have to be continually working or else something is wrong with you is a horrible thought process to have. Skills and experiences don't fade over time, especially if it is in the context of a career.
