I am obsessed with in-flight maps!! I find it the most exciting part of the whole trip. Flying is also the only time I wear a watch. As in, my watch is permanently in my carry-on bag, so I can put it on in the airport. Tracking my flights makes it seem like I’m going to far, far away! It makes it real.

Ohhh I finally found someone just as addicted as I am! I particularly love the super-zoom mode when we fly over land (as opposed to over water – not much going on there). After flying dozens of times to Montreal, I always get giggly on the inside when we fly over the small suburb I grew up in, that I can only see on the map.

Kent and I take off our watches and try to “go into the fog” on long, international flights. So I kinda hate the in-flight maps.

Hilarious! I’m a huge fan of the inflight map and love that it’s often offered in multiple languages. A little education along the way.
